Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using RecoHub ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use RecoHub. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission. By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Use only one account per person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use RecoHub to:

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Spam, phish, or deceive other users or visitors
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malware, viruses, or other malicious code
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Scrape or harvest data from the Platform without permission

5. Content & Affiliate Disclosures

You are solely responsible for all content you post on RecoHub, including product recommendations and affiliate links. You agree to:

• Comply with the FTC's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials
• Clearly disclose any material connections, including affiliate relationships
• Only recommend products you genuinely believe in
• Not post misleading, false, or deceptive product information

RecoHub automatically adds disclosure notices to hub pages, but the legal responsibility for proper disclosure remains with you as the creator.

6. Monetization & Payments

If you use RecoHub's monetization features to sell access to collections, you agree that all payments are processed through Stripe and subject to Stripe's Terms of Service. RecoHub does not handle, hold, or take a cut of your earnings. You are responsible for any applicable taxes on income earned through the Platform.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you upload to RecoHub. By posting content, you grant RecoHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute your content as part of the Platform. RecoHub's own branding, design, software, and content are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be copied or used without permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your hub will no longer be accessible to the public.

9. Disclaimers

RecoHub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of product information posted by creators, and we are not responsible for purchases made through affiliate links. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecoHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
