Password Security

Changing Your Password

1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security
2. Enter your current password
3. Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
4. Confirm new password
5. Click "Update Password"

Password Requirements

Your password must:

• Be at least 8 characters long
• Be unique (not used on other sites)
• Combine letters, numbers, and symbols for strength

Email Security

Your email is used for:

• Signing in to RecoHub
• Password reset requests
• Important account notifications

To change your email, contact support for assistance.

Best Practices

• Use a strong, unique password - Don't reuse passwords from other sites
• Enable 2FA on your email - Protects password reset access
• Log out on shared devices - Don't stay logged in on public computers
• Be wary of phishing - RecoHub will never ask for your password via email
• Review account activity - Check for unfamiliar changes regularly

Forgot Your Password?

1. Go to the login page
2. Click "Forgot Password"
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for reset link
5. Click the link and create a new password
