Adding Products

Products are the core of your recommendation hub. Learn how to add, organize, and optimize your product recommendations.

Adding a Product

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Products

    Click "Add Product" button

  2. Enter Product URL

    Paste the Amazon product link (or any affiliate link). RecoHub will automatically fetch product details, image, and title.

  3. Review & Edit Details
    • Name: Product title (auto-filled, can be edited)
    • Description: Why you recommend it (optional but recommended)
    • Image: Auto-fetched or upload custom
    • Price: Current price (optional, for display only)
  4. Assign to Collection

    Choose which collection(s) this product belongs to

  5. Save Product

    Product will appear on your hub immediately

Affiliate Links

Use affiliate links to earn commissions when people buy through your recommendations:

  • Amazon Associates: Most popular affiliate program
  • ShareASale, CJ, Impact: Multi-brand networks
  • Individual Programs: Many brands have direct affiliate programs

Important

Always use your affiliate links, not regular product links. This is how you earn commissions from RecoHub clicks.

Product Images

Images are automatically fetched from the product URL. You can also:

  • Upload custom images for better branding
  • Use high-quality product photos
  • Keep images consistent in style

Managing Products

  • Edit: Update details, links, or images anytime
  • Move: Reassign products to different collections
  • Reorder: Change display order within collections
  • Mark as Ad: Tag sponsored products (requires disclosure)
  • Delete: Remove products permanently

Best Practices

  • Write honest, helpful descriptions explaining why you recommend each product
  • Keep product information up to date
  • Only recommend products you've actually used or researched
  • Disclose affiliate relationships and sponsored content
  • Test your links regularly to ensure they work
