Setting Up Stripe

Connect Stripe to your RecoHub account to accept payments for paid collections and receive payouts.

What is Stripe?

Stripe is a secure payment processor that handles all transactions for your paid collections. When someone purchases access to your content, Stripe processes the payment and transfers funds directly to your bank account.

Setup Steps

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Monetization

    Click "Connect Stripe" button

  2. Create or connect Stripe account

    You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure onboarding flow

  3. Provide business information
    • Business type (individual or company)
    • Legal name and address
    • Phone number
    • Date of birth (for identity verification)
  4. Add bank account details

    Where Stripe will send your earnings

  5. Agree to terms of service

    Review and accept Stripe's terms

  6. Return to RecoHub

    You'll be automatically redirected once setup is complete

Requirements

To set up Stripe, you'll need:

  • To be 18 years or older
  • A valid government ID
  • A bank account for receiving payments
  • SSN or business tax ID (US) or equivalent in your country

Fees & Payouts

Processing Fees: Stripe charges standard payment processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). RecoHub does not take an additional cut.

Payouts: Funds are automatically transferred to your bank account according to Stripe's payout schedule (typically 2-7 business days after purchase).

Important

Keep your Stripe account information up to date. Failed payouts due to incorrect bank details can delay your earnings.

Managing Your Stripe Account

Access your Stripe dashboard anytime by going to Dashboard → Monetization and clicking "Manage Stripe Account". From there you can:

  • View all transactions and payouts
  • Update bank account information
  • Download tax documents
  • Manage business details
