Setting Up Your Profile
Your profile is the foundation of your recommendation hub. Make a great first impression with a complete and professional profile.
Profile Basics
Display Name
Your display name appears at the top of your hub and in search results. Choose a name that represents you or your brand. This can be your real name, business name, or creative alias.
Username
Your username determines your hub URL (recohub.app/yourname). Pick something short, memorable, and easy to share. Usernames must be unique and can only contain letters, numbers, and underscores.

- Keep it short and memorable
- Avoid numbers unless they're part of your brand
- Make it consistent with your other social handles
- Check availability before committing
Profile Photo
Upload a clear profile photo that represents you or your brand. Your photo will be automatically compressed and optimized. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP (max 2MB).
Bio
Write a compelling bio (up to 160 characters) that tells visitors who you are and what kind of recommendations they can expect. Think of it as your elevator pitch.
Good bio examples:
- "Tech enthusiast sharing the best productivity tools and apps"
- "Fitness coach recommending gear, supplements, and resources that work"
- "Book lover curating must-read novels and writing tools"
Website
Link to your main website, blog, or portfolio. This helps build credibility and gives visitors a way to learn more about you.
Social Links
Connect your social media accounts to build trust and let your audience follow you across platforms. RecoHub supports:
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Twitter/X
- Twitch

Niche & Topics
Select topics that describe your content and recommendations. This helps users discover your hub in the RecoHub directory and sets expectations for your content.
You can select multiple topics. Choose all that apply to increase your visibility.
Editing Your Profile
To edit your profile anytime:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Update any field you want to change
- Click "Save Changes" at the top
